Hello and welcome to English Tutor Scotland. Adrienne is a GTCS-registered, recently retired teacher with over 30 years of experience, offering additional help with English through tutoring. All aspects of the English curriculum can be covered, as well as thorough preparation for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher exams. Younger pupils can be assisted with the Broad General Education extremely effectively, and certificate students can be assisted with the texts they are studying in school, using the same texts as Adrienne. Adrienne can help with notes, quotes and essay plans. Model and specimen papers, along with other quality, school-compatible and SQA-approved resources, can also be helpful tools to help students become fully equipped to achieve targets and tackle tests, prelims and final exams.
If your child is experiencing a barrier to learning, such as dyslexia, you can rest assured that they will be in the best hands. Adrienne has additional qualifications in special and inclusive education and is also CELTA qualified, so tutoring children whose first language is not English is very straightforward.
